Update: Protecting the MERTON LANDS from Development

Posted on Updated on

A tremendous thank you to all 600 plus who wrote to Council, those who attended the Open House information sessions and packed Council on Monday April 14th, 2014.

We are grateful to Council who listened to citizens who want to protect the Fourteen Mile Creek Valley Environmentally Sensitive Area (ESA) and surrounding greenspace.

Council are now committed to saving 100% of the Merton Lands from development.  Stay tuned for a further report in June.
