Workshop: How to Plant a Pollinator Patch

May 5, 2018 @ 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm

Great news: we’ve rescheduled Day 2 of our workshop!! There’s still room for more, so please join us (registration below)!

Learn how to build a pollinator patch from scratch on Day 2 of this 2-day workshop series!

Sean James, from Sean James Consulting & Design, will give us tips on pollinator patch design and layout, planting and maintenance. Donna Doyle (Town of Oakville) will share how the town is supporting pollinators. Then, we’ll visit the future site of Oakvillegreen’s new pollinator patch, where you can use what you’ve learned to help us design and choose species for our patch! Part of this workshop takes place outdoors and includes about 20 minutes of walking.

We will be meeting at River Oaks Community Centre in Community Room B (same location as Day 1).

Registration for Day 2 is $10. We’ll be giving away FREE native plants at the end of the workshop!

Space is limited – please register below.

PLEASE NOTE: Registration payments can not be refunded or deferred. The outdoor portion of the workshop is a rain or shine event.
