Speaker: Victoria MacPhail is a PhD Candidate in the Faculty of Environmental Studies at York University studying bumble bee declines and the use of citizen science data from the BumbleBee Watch program.

After Victoria’s talk join Oakvillegreen staff to make seed bombs and learn to grow your own milkweed from seeds.

victoria-macphailVictoria MacPhail is a PhD Candidate in the Faculty of Environmental Studies at York University studying bumble bee declines and the use of citizen science data from the BumbleBeeWatch program. She was co-ordinator of the Canadian Pollination Initiative network, helped to develop the Native Pollinator Initiative at Wildlife Preservation Canada, and is also Co-Chair and Director of Publicity and Outreach for Pollination Guelph, a charitable organization based in Guelph that works to protect pollinators and their habitats.
