Oakville Digs Pollinators! ~ Walk and Talk at Sheridan College

Do you want to learn more about easy-to-grow native plants that can benefit local birds, butterflies and bees, and find out where to get them?

Join us for an evening walk and talk to find out why native plants matter, tour Sheridan’s pollinator gardens, connect with local organizations and learn what you can do to create healthy habitats that support local biodiversity.


 This event will include:

  • Presentation and guided walk with conservation and native plant experts
  • Tour of Sheridan College’s Pollinator Gardens, including the Medicine Wheel Garden and the Wildflower Garden 
  • WWF-Canada and Carolinian Canada staff to answer your questions about In the Zone – getting started with online tools and the Garden Tracker
  • Opportunities to connect with Oakvillegreen to learn about how to support pollinators in Oakville
