The 2011 Environmental Education: Scope and Sequence of Expectations emphasizes the necessity of ensuring that young people become environmentally active and responsible citizens.
To help achieve this goal, the Ministry of Education is working to embed environmental education expectations and opportunities in all grades and in all subjects of the Ontario curriculum. Oakvillegreen’s educational programs align with these expectations.
All of our programs have curriculum connections and can be tailored to specific grade levels. Most are designed to be delivered to one class or multiple classes (different grades) as an assembly.
